SPOCK'S BEARD Announce April 2 Release of 'Brief Nocturnes And Dreamless Sleep'

Progressive-rock legends SPOCK'S BEARD have returned to InsideOut Music for the April 2nd North American release of BRIEF NOCTURNES AND DREAMLESS SLEEP, their 11th studio album. Label-head Thomas Waber had this to say about the band's return: "InsideOut Music and Spock's Beard have a long and successful history. What would we be as a company without them?  Welcome home guys!"

The new studio album also marks the recording debut of long-time drummer Jimmy Keegan, and vocalist / guitarist Ted Leonard (Enchant, Thought Chamber). It also sees the return of one familiar name to the song-writing credits, that of Neal Morse who has co-written two tracks after having left the band in 2002. Of the collaboration, bass-player Dave Meros says: "Al and Neal are brothers, of course, and keep in regular contact with each other. What happened was that Al spoke to Neal and told him he was working on some ideas. Neal said he'd love to help, so Al went down to Nashville, where his brother's now living, and they collaborated on the songs."

Co-produced by Al Morse, Rich Mouser and John Boegehold, BRIEF NOCTURNES AND DREAMLESS SLEEP is described by Meros as, "quirky, edgy, and reminding us a little bit of older times in the band, but also taking us further forward." More information and tour dates to be announced soon!

Line-Up:
Alan Morse - guitar, vocals
Dave Meros - bass guitar, vocals, keyboards
Ryo Okumoto - keyboards, vocals
Jimmy Keegan - drums, vocals
Ted Leonard - vocals, guitar

JOLLY Unveils Music Video for "Dust Nation Bleak" from the New Album, The Audio Guide To Happiness (Part 2)

February 26, 2013 (Los Angeles, CA) - With the release of JOLLY's new album The Audio Guide To Happiness (Part 2) only a week away, the band has unveiled their first video for their premier single, "Dust Nation Bleak."

The Audio Guide to Happiness (Part 2) has come to symbolize JOLLY's triumph over Hurricane Sandy, the devastating storm that wreaked havoc on their studio and left Drummer/Producer Louis Abramson homeless just weeks before its completion. Luckily the album was saved from the disaster, completed in various friends living rooms, and is being released March 5th via InsideOut Music.

JOLLY'S new music video "Dust Nation Bleak" is filmed directly from the eye of the storm- recorded in the ruins of their studio, and home base. From the outside it may appear to be just another rock video in a gritty setting, but this location represents the sacred remains of JOLLY's birthplace, and carries deep significance.  The band comments: "When God gives you lemons, make a music video.  JOLLY loves you."

In March 2011, JOLLY released The Audio Guide To Happiness (Part 1), the first of a two-part series designed to bring listeners to a state of true happiness. To optimize the JOLLY listening experience, the band collaborated with a professor and graduate students at a nearby university, conducting studies on over 5,000 subjects to perfect the usage of binaural tones in their music.

In support of the new album, JOLLY will join label-mates RIVERSIDE on a small tour starting at the end of April, which follows a month of overseas dates with Riverside in March.  A list of North American dates can be seen below.
