JOLLY Unveils Music Video for "Dust Nation Bleak" from the New Album, The Audio Guide To Happiness (Part 2)

February 26, 2013 (Los Angeles, CA) - With the release of JOLLY's new album The Audio Guide To Happiness (Part 2) only a week away, the band has unveiled their first video for their premier single, "Dust Nation Bleak."

The Audio Guide to Happiness (Part 2) has come to symbolize JOLLY's triumph over Hurricane Sandy, the devastating storm that wreaked havoc on their studio and left Drummer/Producer Louis Abramson homeless just weeks before its completion. Luckily the album was saved from the disaster, completed in various friends living rooms, and is being released March 5th via InsideOut Music.

JOLLY'S new music video "Dust Nation Bleak" is filmed directly from the eye of the storm- recorded in the ruins of their studio, and home base. From the outside it may appear to be just another rock video in a gritty setting, but this location represents the sacred remains of JOLLY's birthplace, and carries deep significance.  The band comments: "When God gives you lemons, make a music video.  JOLLY loves you."

In March 2011, JOLLY released The Audio Guide To Happiness (Part 1), the first of a two-part series designed to bring listeners to a state of true happiness. To optimize the JOLLY listening experience, the band collaborated with a professor and graduate students at a nearby university, conducting studies on over 5,000 subjects to perfect the usage of binaural tones in their music.

In support of the new album, JOLLY will join label-mates RIVERSIDE on a small tour starting at the end of April, which follows a month of overseas dates with Riverside in March.  A list of North American dates can be seen below.

RUSH Bobblehead Dolls Return

Due to overwhelming demand, has brought back the RUSH Bobblehead Dolls. These dolls are polyresin ceramic, which is the highest quality
bobblehead on the market. Measuring 7 inches high (approximately 18
centimeters), these dolls have heads that bobble back and forth, kinda
like seeing the guys on stage. Each set consists of three dolls (Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and Neil Peart) in a custom printed RUSH box. These were designed with a "vintage" RUSH in mind, from the time when the band wore Chinese robes, played double neck guitars, and Neil had the most amazing moustache in rock music. These bobbleheads are guaranteed to bring a smile to your face.

DEEP PURPLE: New Album Title Revealed

The CD contain 11 tracks, including "Out Of Hand", "Hell To Pay", "Weirdistan", "Uncommon Man" and "Above And Beyond". The latter song references the band's late keyboard player, Jon Lord, in the lyric "Souls having touched are forever entwined."

According to a press release, "Now What?!" was recorded with no musical rules… and it shows a modern and fresh production… to the point that DEEP PURPLE have never sounded so close to the spirit of the '70s in the last 20
years as they do now. The CD has the excellence and elegance of "Perfect Strangers" and the wild freedom of "Made In Japan".

"Now What?!" will also be released as a limited edition with a bonus DVD featuring DEEP PURPLE discussing the new album and one bonus studio cover version. It will also be made available as a double vinyl LP.
