Dave Kerzner Releases Music Video For "The Lie"

July 8, 2015, Miami, Florida - Dave Kerzner, Progressive Rock solo artist and member of the bands Sound of Contact and Mantra Vega, has just released the second single from his album "New World" which is accompanied by a music video shot in Los Angeles earlier this year. Joining Dave in the video are album band mates Fernando Perdomo and Nick D'Virgilio (Spocks Beard, Big Big Train) as well as Sound of Contact band mate Matt Dorsey.

"We've shot a lot of music videos for the album that will be coming out throughout the year. I wanted to do them with as many of the people who played on my album as possible. In some cases, such as when Fernando has played both the guitar and bass on the album, Matt from SOC has come on board to fill in as a utility multi-instrumentalist both for the videos and forthcoming live performances." – Dave Kerzner

The video was premiered at 10 AM (UK Time) by Prog Magazine who are hosting the 2015 Progressive Music Awards for which Kerzner is nominated in the "Anthem Of The Year" category for his song "Stranded". It will be available to view on his YouTube Channel http://www.youtube.com/davekerzner

A 4 minute version of the song called "The Lie (Radio Edit)" has been released digitally on iTunes and other popular download sites this week. A 3 track single with both the "Radio Edit" and the full "Album Length Version" as well as a bonus track "Nexus (Early Version Demo)" is now available to download in high quality mp3 and FLAC format here: https://sonicelements.bandcamp.com/album/the-lie

"My roots are in Progressive Rock, but, I also listen to a lot of different music from classic 60s, 70s and 80s rook albums to modern Alt Rock and Ambient music." says Kerzner "A song like 'The Lie' is a hybrid of retro Prog and modern Alt Rock with a bit of Pop in it. I like a song that appeals to the musos but also wouldn't be out of place on mainstream rock radio. I discovered a lot of my favorite bands after hearing their most popular tunes first. I hope "The Lie" lures in people who don't normally listen to Progressive Rock. They may discover certain qualities they like in it that are on my album such as cinematic instrumental sections, grandiose production and virtuoso playing from the likes of Steve Hackett from Genesis, Keith Emerson of ELP and other special guests on my album 'New World'."

Dave Kerzner's album "New World" is available on CD and digital download from http://www.davekerzner.com and on iTunes, Amazon and other popular digital sites. It is also available around the world from select distributors and retailers.
