NEWS FROM MANUEL GÖTTSCHING: For the 30th anniversary of Manuel Göttsching's E2-E4 The Wire Magazine dedicates him the cover story of December 2011 issue

Dear friends,

if you scrall down to "FEATURES" you will discover something interesting about Manuel Göttsching & his E2-E4's 30th anniversary!

And in London a Manuel Göttsching Music Festival will be installed where Manuel will perform, but also musicians, DJs influenced by his music - and these are quite a view :-)

Also a film about MG is planed by Alexander Snelling, an award-winning director and editor from London. Alex's last feature documentary "Tantric Tourists" has won festival awards in London, Canada, US and Mexico and was released in 2011.

Another film project in development is about The Making of SEVEN UP, by internationally renown director Ilona Ziok (Fritz Bauer - Death by Instalments, The Count and the Comrade, The Sounds of Silents, Kurt Gerron's Karussel).

SEVEN UP (http://www.ashra.com/disco/1731se.htm) is a cult album by Manuel Göttsching's band Ash Ra Tempel & Timothy Leary. See recent article about it in French La Libération (3 pages): http://www.ashra.com/press/pics/liberation_2011.pdf or one in UK Mojo Magazine: http://www.ashra.com/press/pics/mojo_2003_1.jpg, http://www.ashra.com/press/pics/mojo_2003_2.jpg, http://www.ashra.com/press/pics/mojo_2003_3.jpg, http://www.ashra.com/press/pics/mojo_2003_4.jpg
This album together with ASH RA TEMPEL - First and SCHWINGUNGEN has been remastered by Manuel Göttsching and re-released by our label - soon available all over the world.

But for the moment don't miss THE WIRE issue from December 2011 (out on 10th November) with 6 pages on Maestro Göttsching, the Ash Ra Tempe Gure as THE WIRE explains it!
